Welcome to a new way to buy clothes - personal, unique and tailored to you. At Sweet Violet, we create one-of-a-kind garments from your exact measurements in timeless designs, offering an experience in co-creating your wardrobe that you won’t find anywhere else.

Every Sweet Violet garment is crafted exclusively on demand. Unlike fast fashion, each piece is individually cut, constructed and finished in our American atelier after your order is placed. This made-to-order process allows for careful attention to detail, a bespoke level of craftsmanship and a wide range of customization options.  

As of Spring 2026, our studio is offering a range of made-to-measure skirts, with new styles and fabrics being added each day. Behind the scenes, we are busy working on designs for customizable dresses. Our dresses will feature your choice of neckline and sleeve styles and length, and you will also be able to choose from the usual range of silhouettes and lengths that you can currently choose with our skirts. I'm Kate Ryan, the designer and maker behind Sweet Violet. I've spent years perfecting my craft, driven by a love of classic silhouettes and the art of garment construction.

I love this skirt so much

It's a nice thick wool fabric that will keep me warm in my cold climate. I ordered a size 2, length 38”. It is a little snug but I wanted it to fit that way. For reference I'm 5'2” 115 lbs. I would order the skirt again... oh wait, this is my second time ordering. The first one was for my mom 🥰
