Return & Exchange Policy

If you wish to return or exchange an item, it must be shipped back within 14 days of receipt in an unused condition. 

If more than 14 days has passed since you received the item, please contact us to see if we are able to issue you with a store credit. 

We cannot offer refunds or exchanges for items with any visible wear or damage.

How to Return or Exchange an Item

To start a return, email kate@sweetviolet.co with your order number so we can locate your order and authorize the return. Please also let us know if you would like to return for a refund, or exchange for a different item.

If you are shipping an item from Canada valued over $100, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 7 days.

Please be aware that if you are exchanging an item for another item, due to the handmade nature of our clothing, it may take up to 3 weeks processing time to have your new item made and shipped to you.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift card will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver.
